eTime Tutorials and Job Aids
What is eTime? eTime is a web-based application for recording time worked, paid time off such as PTO and Jury Duty, and for managing other forms of attendance such as PTO. eTime replaces the use of paper timecards, payroll summary sheets and My Weichert Info.
Below is training materials on this page. Read the definition in each section to determine which course you need to complete.
- Non-Exempt employees without direct reports only need to complete The Non-Exempt Employee Course
- Exempt Employees without direct reports only need to complete The Exempt Employee course.
- Anyone who has a direct report or will approve time will need to complete all five courses.

A non exempt employee is an hourly employee who enters time in and out daily including lunch. |

Timecard Approvers |
Timecard approvers are responsible for approving an employee's timecard, whether you have a direct report, or whether you have been delegated by another timecard approver to approve someone's timecard for a limited period of time. Timecard approvers must take all five courses. |

Delegates |
A delegate is someone who is assigned to approve a timecard by another timecard approver, in the event that the timecard approver is not available to approve timecards for their direct reports. The most likely scenario where this will come into play is when a manager will be away on vacation during a pay period where timecards are approved. |

Scheduling |
Scheduling is the process where a manager will select from a pre-existing schedule template established for all non-exempt employees.
